OpenID Connect Sign-On for Restya Core

Process of verifying the user's identity and credentials. Provide a heightened level of security for all of your Restya Core data.

What is the main role of OpenID Connect?

OpenID Connect 1.0 is a simple identity layer on top of the OAuth 2.0 protocol. It allows Clients to verify the identity of the End-User based on the authentication performed by an Authorization Server, as well as to obtain basic profile information about the End-User in an interoperable and REST-like manner.

Authentication Through an OpenID Connect Provider

Restya core can use another OpenID Connect provider as an authentication source. When logging in, Restya core will redirect to the upstream provider and perform the necessary OAuth2 flows to determine the end user's email, username, etc.

Prominent examples of OpenID Connect providers include Google Accounts, Salesforce, and Azure AD v2.
